Dr. Han Ren’s “The Hyphenated Life: Bridging the In-Between Spaces of Intersectional Identities” will be out by early 2026. Part memoir, part self-help, part cultural critique, this book will be a collection of essays drawing from her personal life and professional practice. Providing readers with multiple intersectional identities — “hyphenates — the tools to proces, evolve, and thrive in dominant Western culture and society by examining themes of othering, belonging, authenticity, privilege, and oppression.
